tori, hi.
i really don’t want to get all gooey and maudlin here but has anybody ever thought about the number of times our eyes, hearts and brains get to see the word “love” in an environment that’s not a house of worship? your website has, for me, turned into a place more real than virtual, populated with truly evocative dialog and discourse flavored with the ceremonial aspects of food. plato would be proud.
sue’s for true,..”.have a latke and light the menorrah .” cuts right to it. that relationship between food and the numinous. deb shlee’s great reminder about how cool it is to give stuff to people and the utter good that we will always be our brother’s {and sister’s} keepers.
sherri points our feet back to the ground with, ……..everyone needs some luck, it’s only stuff and all humanity needs a blessing. before i forget, tori, i will have BAD thoughts about a mashugana if i do not see a recipe for eggplant latkes bloody SOON. omg i love the chemistry between eggplant and hot grease!
thanx for making a place tori. ciao, l.
