In this post you will find some of my favorite recipes and crafts for the Sukkot holiday!
Sukkot, also known as the Feast of Booths or Tabernacles, is a Jewish holiday that evolved out of an agricultural festival. This festival originated as a sort of “thanksgiving” for the fruit harvest. A sukkah is a handmade structure, similar to a hut, that emulates what the Jews lived in during their 40 years of travel after the exodus from Egypt. We build outdoor sukkahs during the week-long holiday of Sukkot; we decorate the sukkah, and eat our meals there during the holiday. The sukkah, a temporary structure, reminds us of the fact that our existence is fragile. Sukkot is a time to give our appreciation for shelter, in its many forms.
These seasonal recipe ideas will help you plan a Sukkot feast to remember!

I have made several of your recipes, all great. I like traditional foods like my Polish grandmother used to make. Definitely worth the effort.
