WHY YOU NEED TO CHOOSE TO BE PRODUCTIVE
There are MILLIONS of ways to kick start or boost your productivity that really do work, but only when you choose to make them work.
You could look up every single productivity tip, hack, strategy, method, and system on the planet, but none of them will work if you don’t first CHOOSE to put them into action.
Osmosis does not work in this equation!
You can’t become more productive by reading about how to become more productive. You can’t have a ridiculously productive day just by thinking you will. You can’t get things done in your business when your thumb is still scrolling through Instagram. #truthbomb
In order to actually BE productive, you must ACT productive.

WHAT CHOOSING TO BE PRODUCTIVE LOOKS LIKE
When you choose to be productive, you’re not choosing to be busy. When you choose to be productive, you’re not choosing to hustle. When you choose to be productive, you’re not choosing to multi-task.
Those words—busy, hustle, and multi-task—are just fancy, dressed up buzzwords we use in place of productivity these days. But they’re not actually productive. They’re just the concealer we use to cover up stress, burnout, and exhaustion. Because they look good, sound better… and because everybody else is doing it.
But they aren’t doing us any favors when it comes to our daily productivity.
Choosing to be productive means managing the time you’re given each day. It means focusing on one task at a time, saying no to distractions, and getting things done. Choosing to be productive means intentionally prioritizing what really matters and finding that elusive balance between your work and your life.

HOW YOU CAN CHOOSE TO BE PRODUCTIVE TODAY
Friends. I know how difficult it can be to be productive these days. With so many things vying for our attention (i.e. emails, text messages, notifications) and even more things tempting us away from what we really should be doing (i.e. Pinterest, YouTube, Netflix) it’s a wonder we ever get anything done.
Which is why we spend so much time searching for ways to be more productive. But all that reading and research will do us no good if we don’t first choose to put those tips, tricks, and strategies into action.
As Marie Forleo says, “Insight without action is worthless.”
